My first real attempt to carve out something other than the typical eyes and mouth. Didn’t have a pumpkin carving kit but I will have to buy one for next year.

The first event is entitled “Feminality” and will display the works of some of the most talented female artists of their generation. The location for the premiere event will be held at the very established and well-known Hive Gallery in downtown Los Angeles and will happen on Saturday, November 21st. Uber popular Tara McPherson will be headlining and will be painting a floor-to-ceiling mural live during the show. Elizabeth Siegel (TofuSquirrel) will be doing live painting, as well. Georgette Pressler from Devious Body Art will be using her incredible skills to paint live models. Amy Botello, Aunia Kahn and Jessica Sardas will be on-hand displaying some of their wonderful works of art during the event. Tara Hauck, of Tara Inc. Fine Arts Photography, will be displaying some of her amazing photography. Rudy Fig, Natalie Shau, Molly Crabapple, Cate Rangel, Edith Lebeau, Arabella Proffer-Vendetta, Ashleigh Fedo, Sara Antoinette Martin, Kelly McKernan, Noir Nouar, Elodie aka LostFish, Megan Frauenhoffer, Christen Kojnok, Ritzy Periwinkle and Cassie “Kaz” Williams will be displaying some of their unique works, as well.

This is actually my favorite piece I have done. Or at least for the time being until I get sick of it, as I eventually do with most all my work. But I think I fancy this one the most because of all the cats and I am a cat lover, so there you have it!

I am getting better and better I feel and with good reasons, as I am working my butt off at it. I am studying more on my own looking up resources and taking my time. This is my goal to become better and better and more just digital painting than anything and eventually traditional painting, maybe oils.

In other news I have also finished up an old image that I had started this spring. It came out totally different then I expected but I love it! I have named her for now but I am not sure that maybe change.

I have been super busy and also trying to downsize and organize websites where I can be found. Mostly all the ones I use the most have been renamed or a new account has been made through the use of my name for simplicity.

I just got done last week making a book cover for Emerian Rich’s “Night’s Knight”. She decided to use a older image and I just edited it a bit so it would look better. Yeah I am a perfectionest and maybe sometimes to a fault. Anyways I think the layout came out awesome and I am very pleased.

New work influenced by the Sookie Diary books. There will be more of these as I am making a series of these.

Well here is the layout for the site, for now, mostly made for the blog.
I have been working on a new digital painting, she is not done yet but I hope she will be soon.

Last week I updated Half Past 3, as I found it unfinished. I added more shadows and such and now I have grown to like it more as it really pops out.
